SHOE MARKET by the COAT Raises UAH 1,436,250 for a Prosthetic Limb for Svitlana Puhachova

A charity SHOE MARKET took place in the courtyard of the Kyiv boutique of the COAT by Katya Silchenko – an event that has already become a meaningful tradition for the brand and its community. This year, the market brought together friends of the COAT, representatives of the creative industry, influencers, and guests who came to support the charitable initiative.

As a result of the event, UAH 1,436,250 was raised to fund a prosthetic limb for Svitlana Puhachova, a resident of Nikopol who lost her leg following a russian drone attack on December 26, 2024. The fundraising was carried out in partnership with the Superhumans Center rehabilitation facility.

SHOE MARKET is a charity market where friends of the brand, influencers, and clients of the COAT donate pairs from their personal wardrobes. Each pair is given a new life, while all proceeds from sales are directed toward charitable causes.

This year, the selection included shoes from notable Ukrainians such as DOROFEEVA, Zlata Ognevich, ROXOLANA, Anton Ptushkin, and others. A special highlight of the charity auction was a pair of shoes donated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, which drew particular attention from guests.

The atmosphere of the event was enriched by live performances from Zlata Ognevich, KADNAY, Viktor Pavlik, and Yehor Hordieiev, along with a DJ set by Dimitri.

The team of the COAT extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to SHOE MARKET – by donating shoes, supporting the auction, or purchasing pairs at the market. Thanks to this collective effort, an important step has been made toward Svitlana’s prosthetic rehabilitation and her return to a full life.
